Once again we held our annual "Día del Cariño "/Valentine’s Day lunch for homeless and hungry in the central park of Guatemala City. We served a delicious meal of beans, rice, hot dogs, tostadas and drinks to over 700 people.

Thanks to local businesses who helped donate the food, restaurants who cooked it and many volunteers who gave generously of their time and energy. The event was once again a success! In our mission work we try to help people physically, but more importantly we offer them a true and lasting solution to the problems they face in life. This month we setup a computer lab at the orphanage. Recently our project was approved for a grant to purchase new computers, monitors, network equipment and a projector.

Our goal is to provide the children with relevant computer skills that are applicable to the job market thus enabling them to obtain better employment and improve their lives. The new computers also enable the children to progress faster in learning English through an online language course.

In addition we also give the children motivational Bible classes to help them develop character and a closer connection with the Lord.
