Why should you support us?

 



  Jesus commanded Christians to “Go into the all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature”, it is the calling of each and every Christian to head this call to the best of their ability. For my wife and I that meant answering the Lords call to serve Him in Guatemala.
   We have been here for six years and during that time we have come to see that “the harvest truly is plenteous, but the labors are few” and every year more and more of them leave the harvest, not because they want to but for lack of funding.
   When my wife and I first came here we had no support, but we obeyed the Lord and came anyways. Over time friends, family, churches and businesses saw that we were committed and dedicated to our job as missionaries and began to support us.
   We currently have almost 2/3 of our personal budget covered through monthly pledges and we desperately need to secure the rest. We have five children now and it’s our responsibility to provide for them as we serve the Lord.
   Struggling month to month to come up with the necessary finances is a distraction from our primary calling to “make disciples of all nations”.
   We live simply, and will gladly serve the Lord as missionaries for the rest of our lives, but to do so we need your assistance to do so. Our monthly expenses run about $2000 a month and the fact that we receive $1300 a month in support is a miracle and proof that we are in the Lords will.
   But like any business, missionaries can’t run a deficit month after month and stay in business. We need sponsors who can commit to helping us cover our expenses every month and keep us in “business”.
   By supporting missionaries you are making a worthwhile investment, you are laying up “treasures in heaven" where moth and rust to not corrupt and thieves cannot break in and steal, you are giving people the only chance they may ever have to hear the Gospel, to receive Jesus into their lives and to live eternally in heaven.
   Please search your heart to see if the Lord is calling you to partner with us to save the lost of this world.
